OLIMPICS 2026 : Physics and living systems
We are pleased to announce the 2026 conference « Physics and living systems » of the OLIMPICS federation (CNRS, UGA, G-INP, CEA). It will take place in the Bauges Massif (Lescheraines), from Monday, October 12 at 10:00 am to Thursday, October 15 at 1:00 pm.
Registrations and abstract submissions will be open from now until July 31th.
This event is intended to give early-career scientists the opportunity to present their work and build their network. Therefore, we strongly encourage the participation of PhD students and PostDocs. Scientific talks will be complemented by off-topic talks, free time for discussions and poster sessions.
A shuttle service will be operated from Grenoble and Chambéry train stations to/from the conference venue at the beginning and end of the conference.
We will have the pleasure of welcoming four guest speakers on each of the four major themes that make up our community :
– Stéphanie Descroix (DR CNRS, Institut Curie, Paris) – Theme : Investigating the living world
– Yanxia Hou-Broutin (DR CNRS, SyMMES, Grenoble) – Theme : Bio-inspired physics and engineering
– Guillaume Salbreux (Prof. Université de Genève, Department of Genetics and Evolution) Theme : Dynamics of living systems
– Julien Gautrot (Prof. Univ. London, Centre for Molecular Biochemical Engineering) Theme: Physical interactions
