SUMMARY:SFN School on TOF spectroscopy
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce that pre-registation for the SFN School on TOF spectroscopy is now open. The school will take place 7-10th of December 2026 at the Institut Laue-Langevin in Grenoble.\n\nThe objective of this school is to accompany the French neutron community towards the use of Time-of-flight spectrometers in spallation sources\, and especially in preparation for the use of the upcoming instruments suite at the ESS.  This school is addressed to participants (permanent and non-permanent) who are already familiar with neutron spectroscopy. To ensure a high pedagogical quality and interactions during tutorials and practicals\, attendance will be limited to 30 participants. Selection will be based on a short CV and brief statement of motivation. SUMMARY:ECHO workshop - EleCtron Holography in Optics
DESCRIPTION:This is a kind reminder that the EleCtron Holography in Optics (ECHO) workshop will be held in Forschungszentrum Jülich from 8 to 10 December 2026. The workshop will cover topics that include electromagnetic field mapping at the nanoscale using electron and X-ray holography. It will be funded by the WE-Heraeus foundation\, who will cover the costs of registration\, accommodation and meals.
